From Farmer's Son to Software Engineer: The Inspiring Journey of Praveen Bankhede

Praveen Bankhede, the son of a farmer from a small village called Karajgaon in Bhopal, has fulfilled his dream of becoming a software engineer with sheer determination and hard work. 

Despite many stumbling blocks in his journey towards success, Praveen ensure that he led his life on his own terms. 

About Praveen Bankhede

Praveen was born and brought up in a small village called Karajgaon, which is located in the Betul district of Madhya Pradesh. As a middle-class family, they led a very simple life back in the village. 

Praveen’s parents are farmers and more often than not, Praveen has also worked in the fields and provided a helping hand to his parents. As a young boy, he had to walk about 3 km every day in order to attend his school, which was located in the nearby village called Sonora. 

Praveen always wanted to build his career in the tech industry. In order to take a step forward towards his dream, Praveen enrolled on the B.Tech program at the Vindhya Institute of Technology and Science in Indore. Although there were many financial problems, Praveen’s parents motivated him to get an engineering degree in order for him to build a career in tech. But despite having an engineering degree, Praveen could not land a decent job due to lack of opportunities. 

Praveen’s Career Transformation with Newton School 

It was then that Praveen decided to take matters into his own hands and enrolled in the full stack development course at Newton School. In just a few months, Praveen learned all the languages and tools required to become a proficient coder.

“There are a lot of opportunities in the IT sector and it’s growing fast, which is why I wanted to join this industry”, Praveen said. 

His dedication and the need for financial stability led him to Newton School, where he enrolled for the full stack development course. 

In a matter of a few months, Praveen learned all the languages and tools required to become a coder, including HTML, CSS, React, Redux, Node JS, among others. In no time, Praveen had become a proficient coder and was ready to live the dream that had been on hold for a long time. 

Where is Praveen today?

Today, Praveen is working as a software engineer at a Swiss blockchain and AI company in Pune, Perpetual Block AG. With this achievement, Praveen has become the highest earning member of his family.
