Aysha Fathima Najia: A Data Science aspirant's journey of resilience and determination

Aysha Fathima Najia's story is an inspiring tale of how determination and hard work can help you achieve your dreams even in the face of adversity. Despite numerous challenges, Aysha's unwavering spirit kept her going, and today, she is pursuing her dream of becoming a Data Scientist.

About Aysha 

Aysha, the youngest of five siblings, completed her B.Tech in Information Technology in 2019. She had already gained two years of experience as a Data Analyst when she had to relocate suddenly to Oman due to her husband's job. However, finding employment in Oman proved to be a challenge for Aysha due to the limited opportunities available for women in Arab countries. She pursued an unpaid internship with a Calicut-based company for six months, but her search for a suitable job continued.

Aysha's father was a businessman who lost his job, leading to financial difficulties for the family. Despite the hardships, Aysha's family supported her education, and they are still repaying the education loan to date. 

Aysha's determination to support her family financially and achieve her dream of becoming a Data Scientist never wavered. She explored job opportunities during the pandemic but could not find anything that suited her interests or skills. However, Aysha's passion for Data Science remained unshaken, and she continued to work hard towards her goal.

Aysha’s Career Transformation with Newton School 

Aysha's journey towards becoming a Data Scientist has not been an easy one. However, her resilience and determination have helped her overcome the challenges she faced. Aysha is an inspiration to women who wish to pursue their dreams but are held back by societal norms and limitations.

In her own words, she said, “I want to go back to my college and inspire other women to take a leap of faith and help them make their dreams come true.” Aysha's story is a reminder that with determination and hard work, one can achieve their dreams, no matter how difficult the path may seem. 

She is a bright student and is breaking through all odds to successfully complete this course.
